Job Summary:

The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for providing support in the administrative and receivable/collections functional areas within the finance team at Road Ranger Logistics. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, pays attention to details, and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists the finance team with general accounting administration, including performing day-to-day financial transactions, verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable data.
  • Verifies discrepancies and resolves clients' billing issues, ensuring timely and accurate payment collections.
  • Responsible for COD payment applications & postings, monitoring and processing Accounts Receivables Cheques and EFT's, and handling all internal billings.
  • Filing and indexing all documents physically and electronically, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Performs clerical duties, such as maintaining filing and record systems, and prepares work with the Finance Manager to produce required ad-hoc reports.
  • Reception and managing all incoming calls, overseeing and monitoring the corporate company process, and uploading invoices on the customer portal.
  • Responsible for credit reference checks for customers, timely customer account reconciliations, and sending updated Statements of Account to customers.
  • Responsible to send statements and work with auditors for audit checks, providing metrics and specific reporting to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Accounting Diploma and/or two-year equivalent accounting experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of intermediate to advanced functions in Microsoft Excel.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task, with excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
  • Quick learner and ability to manage multiple and competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Knowledge of Microdea/Synergize, TMW (Truck Mate Software), and Quick Books will be considered an asset.

  • Administrative experience: 2 years.
  • Collections experience: 2 years.
  • Accounts Receivable experience: 2 years.
  • UAE local experience: 2 years.
