Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Service Associate to join our team at The Abu Dhabi EDITION. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve Food and Beverages: Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Set Tables: Set tables according to type of event and service standards, ensuring a visually appealing and inviting atmosphere.
  • Answer Menu Questions: Answer questions on menu selections, providing recommendations and ensuring guests are satisfied with their choices.
  • Communicate with the Kitchen: Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, re-cook orders, and product availability, ensuring seamless service.
  • Record Transactions: Record transactions in our MICROS system at time of order, maintaining accurate records and ensuring efficient service.
  • Check Guest Satisfaction: Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day, ensuring a clean and safe environment for guests and colleagues.
  • Complete Closing Duties: Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc., ensuring a smooth transition to the next shift.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience in a food and beverage setting.
  • License or Certification: None required.
