**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Trader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the FX market movements, covering positions with banks, and ensuring accounting of all deals taken.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the FX market movements and cover the position with the banks to obtain optimal margins.
  • Fund NOSTRO accounts to process remittances.
  • Ensure accurate accounting of all deals taken.
  • Process USD requirements and purchases from local banks.
  • Submit bank remittance forms to local banks.
  • Resolve all issues with correspondent banks related to funding.
  • Settle MCY transactions.
  • Support the branches.
  • Collaborate with the business and sales teams to achieve business targets in retail and corporate segments.
  • Proactively attend and respond to business-related calls from the business and sales teams, prioritizing customer retention and delight while safeguarding overall business interests.
  • Develop strategies and provide pricing recommendations based on market information and trends to facilitate better pricing strategies at sales points.

Requirements:

  • Graduate with a professional qualification from a reputable institution, preferably in Accounting or Management fields.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of work experience.
  • Good knowledge of the FX market in various currencies.
