Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist with Mobility: Help clients move safely using wheelchairs, including transferring between wheelchair and bed, chair, or other surfaces.
  2. Support Daily Living Activities: Assist clients with daily activities such as dressing, grooming, eating, and personal hygiene as needed.
  3. Monitor Safety: Ensure the safety of clients by monitoring their environment, preventing falls, and adhering to safety protocols.
  4. Provide Transportation: Offer transportation support for clients to appointments, errands, and social activities as required.
  5. Communicate Effectively: Maintain clear and compassionate communication with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  6. Document Client Information: Accurately record and report any changes in clients' conditions, incidents, or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  7. Maintain a Clean Environment: Help maintain a clean and organized environment for clients, including their living spaces and assistive equipment.
  8. Offer Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive and respectful relationship.
Requirements
  1. Experience: Previous experience in a caregiving role, particularly with individuals who use wheelchairs is preferred.
  2. Certifications: Relevant certifications in caregiving, first aid, or CPR are advantageous.
  3. Skills:
    1. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    2. Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and transferring clients safely
    3. Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
  4. Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.
  5. Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
