As a vital member of our hospitality team, the Royal Service Agent plays a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This position requires a blend of communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to service excellence.
- Service Excellence: Deliver consistently professional, friendly, and engaging service to all guests.
- Communication Management: Handle all incoming calls and emails, either by redirecting or providing assistance directly.
- Response Protocol: Answer calls and emails promptly, maintaining a courteous and clear tone.
- Ownership of Requests: Take full responsibility for guest inquiries and ensure timely follow-up in line with our service standards.
- Department Knowledge: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all hotel departments, particularly Housekeeping, Front Office, and Engineering.
- Operational Dispatch: Act as a communication hub for security, guest services, and operational colleagues.
- Service Request Management: Update and manage service requests and work orders, ensuring they are dispatched to the appropriate department.
- System Maintenance: Oversee the Royal Service software system, ensuring all services are accessible and efficiently executed.
- Equipment Upkeep: Ensure the proper functioning of all telephone and related equipment within the switchboard.
- Confidentiality Assurance: Uphold the confidentiality of all guest information.
- Message Handling: Accurately transcribe and relay messages, ensuring they reach the intended recipients.
- Emergency Response: Provide timely information and assistance during emergencies, following up to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Wake-Up Call Management: Accurately log and deliver wake-up calls as requested by guests.
- Guest Liaison: Serve as a point of contact for guests seeking information about hotel services, promotions, and amenities.
- Reservation Coordination: Manage restaurant reservation requests through the Table Management System.
- Lost & Found Communication: Maintain clear communication with guests regarding lost and found items.
- Amenity Creation: Facilitate the creation of amenities in the system for efficient delivery.
- Emergency Procedures Knowledge: Be well-versed in hotel emergency protocols and maintain composure during high-pressure situations.
- Service-Driven Environment: Promote a results-oriented work atmosphere focused on exceptional service.
- Policy Adherence: Follow departmental policies and safety standards diligently.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned to support hotel operations.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:
- Fluency in Arabic, both spoken and written.
- Previous experience as a Telephone Operator.
- Exceptional guest service skills and strong verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications; knowledge of Opera Property Management System is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving capabilities.
- Highly organized, responsible, and reliable work ethic.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on guest needs.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and guest requests effectively.
