The RoleThis Senior Account Executive (MENA) position plays a pivotal role in scaling our presence across the region, driving strategic engagements, and forging deep relationships within the AWS ecosystem.
You'll act as a trusted advisor to high-growth startups, ISVs, and enterprises, helping them maximize the value of AWS through our outcome-driven solutions.
This demanding yet rewarding role requires an ambitious self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, high-impact environment. With VeUP's strong AWS partnerships and a solid foundation in place, you'll have the freedom and support to build something exceptional in the region.
Main Responsibilities:- Drive Growth & Revenue - Own and exceed sales quotas by closing high-value cloud transformation deals with startups, ISVs, and enterprises in MENA.
- Leverage AWS & Partner Networks - Work closely with AWS teams, marketplace sellers, and venture partners to identify and co-sell strategic opportunities.
- Shape the GTM Strategy - Be a key player in defining how VeUP scales in MENA, working cross-functionally with Marketing, DG, and our AWS Partner team.
- Consult & Sell Strategically - Navigate complex technical sales cycles, partnering with VeUP's world-class Solutions Architects to deliver tailored roadmaps for customers.
- Champion AWS Marketplace - Educate customers on the benefits of transacting via AWS Marketplace and drive deals through co-sell initiatives.
- Be the Face of VeUP in MENA - Represent the company at industry events, AWS Summits, and exclusive invite-only VeUP-hosted mixers (like BuilderCom).
Ideal candidates possess 7+ years of ARR quota-carrying software sales experience, with a proven track record of exceeding quota. Proven experience in consultative, value-based sales, ideally within AWS/cloud services, is essential.
A self-starter mentality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment are must-haves. Strong technical acumen and fluency in English are also required. Arabic proficiency is a plus but not necessary.
Bonus points for prior experience working in the MENA region or existing networks within AWS, venture firms, or cloud-native startups.
