**Job Title:** Junior Project Engineer - Escalator Installation

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Project Engineer to join our team in the installation of escalators. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all pre-installation works, ensuring the availability of adequate information, and coordinating with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • **Pre-Installation Works:** Manage all pre-installation works, including ensuring the availability of adequate information, and coordinating with factory and supply chain teams.
  • **Contractual Scope:** Ensure the contractual scope of works and deliveries are clearly understood and communicated to all stakeholders.
  • **Material Deliveries:** Follow up on material deliveries in conjunction with factory and supply chain teams.
  • **Shaft Readiness:** Monitor shaft readiness and ensure shaft dimensions are as per approved shop drawings.
  • **Resource Planning:** Ensure adequate resources are planned to meet project contractual requirements.
  • **Purchase Orders:** Request purchase orders for subcontractors and local materials in conjunction with the Project Manager and supply chain team.
  • **Coordination:** Coordinate with main contractors, architects, and consultant teams on project requirements, including shop drawings, technical submittals, material samples, method statements, and inspection and test plan approvals.
  • **Logistics:** Plan and arrange logistics programs for safe and timely deliveries of escalators and elevator materials inside building premises.
  • **Reporting:** Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the main contractor as applicable according to project requirements.
  • **Meetings:** Attend weekly/bi-weekly meetings with the main contractor.
  • **Technical Coordination:** Carry out technical coordination and planning to interface elevators with low-voltage devices.
  • **Installation Phase:** Ensure adequate resources are available during the installation phase.
  • **Material Inspection:** Raise material inspection requests upon deliveries of materials and assure timely approval.
  • **Communication:** Ensure proper communication/letters/records keeping with the main contractor in conjunction with the Project Manager pertaining to all aspects of the project.
  • **Installation Progress:** Follow up on installation progress through MS Projects, Primavera, or Excel spreadsheets as required.
  • **Risk Assessment:** Plan risk assessments prior to hoisting and rigging and other critical activities.
  • **Safety:** Conduct TBT/FPA and ensure all other safety aspects are adhered to as per company's laid down safety procedures.
  • **Trouble Reports:** Raise trouble reports for any missing, short-shipped, or defective materials and follow up on their deliveries.
  • **Installation Support:** Advise/support installation teams for any installation-related issues.
  • **Documentation:** Ensure installation manuals, engineering drawings, and approved shop drawings are available at all times.
  • **Supply Chain Coordination:** Coordinate with the supply chain to ensure local materials are ordered and available on a timely manner.
