Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Civil Engineer to join our team at Mohamed Hilal Group. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities on-site, ensuring compliance with engineering plans, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight
    • Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site to ensure timely completion and adherence to project specifications.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any issues or concerns.
  • Technical Duties
    • Review and interpret engineering drawings and plans to ensure accurate execution of civil works.
    • Conduct quality control checks to ensure materials and workmanship meet project specifications.
  • Health and Safety
    • Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols on-site to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
  • Project Documentation
    • Maintain detailed records of construction progress, including daily reports and site photographs.
    • Prepare and submit regular progress reports to project managers and senior engineers.
  • Problem Solving
    • Address and resolve technical or logistical issues that arise on-site, coordinating with relevant parties to find effective solutions.
    • Assess and manage changes to project scope, design, or schedule, ensuring proper documentation and communication with stakeholders.
  • Collaboration
    • Work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.
    • Liaise with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders to address concerns and ensure compliance with project requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineering license or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on site management and construction supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
