Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Naval Engineer to join our team at Global Projects Services AG. As a Naval Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing specialized knowledge of main Naval Engineer competences.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with the Naval Architect lead to develop and improve technical skills, expertise, knowledge, procedures, and tools required for proposals and project execution.
  2. Support naval engineering activities and improve quality and efficiency in the naval engineering activities.
  3. Apply and improve technical skills, expertise, knowledge, procedures, and tools as required for proposals and project execution.

Job Tasks

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Applying Naval Engineering acquired competence for technical activities.
  2. Preparing naval deliverables (procedures, notes, technical reports).
  3. Developing design capability (stability, hydrostatic, hydrodynamics, hull, mooring, installation engineering, DP).
  4. Preparing technical documents relevant for requisitions, bid analysis, and PO.
  5. Preparing feedback dossiers from projects.
  6. Supporting the Naval Architect Lead to develop excellence in naval engineering.
  7. Acquiring the capability and skill requested to successfully apply the state-of-the-art numerical tools for naval department engineering activities.
  8. Assisting the Naval Architect Lead to implement the process of Lesson Learning.
  9. Improving technical competence growth of department resources regarding Hydrostatic, Stability, Hydrodynamic, Mooring analysis, Dynamic Positioning System.
