Job Summary

Technopole Industrise LLC is seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive HSE policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for our employees and a sustainable future for our company.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Safety Policy and Procedure Development:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive HSE policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Regularly review and update safety policies to reflect changes in regulations and industry best practices.
Risk Assessment and Management:
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement control measures to mitigate risks.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, including OSHA standards.
  • Prepare and submit required safety and environmental reports to regulatory agencies and company management.
Training and Education:
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on HSE policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Conduct safety drills and exercises to ensure employees are prepared to respond to emergencies effectively.
Inspections and Audits:
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of the manufacturing facility to ensure adherence to HSE standards.
  • Identify areas of improvement and work with relevant departments to implement corrective actions.
Incident Response and Investigation:
  • Lead the response to workplace incidents, including accidents, injuries, and environmental spills.
  • Conduct thorough investigations to determine the causes of incidents and recommend preventive measures.
Environmental Management:
  • Develop and implement environmental management programs to minimize the company's environmental impact.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials in compliance with environmental regulations.
Safety Culture Promotion:
  • Promote a culture of safety by encouraging proactive safety behaviors and recognizing exemplary safety performance.
  • Facilitate open communication about safety concerns and suggestions for improvement among employees.
Documentation and Recordkeeping:
  • Maintain accurate records of safety training, inspections, incidents, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and readily accessible for audits and inspections.
Qualifications
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar HSE role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  3. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST), or equivalent are preferred.
  4. Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety and environmental standards.
  5. Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and training skills.
  6. Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  7. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization and promote a collaborative safety culture.
Working Conditions
  1. Environment: Work is performed in both office and manufacturing plant settings, with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
  2. Physical Requirements: Ability to conduct physical inspections, stand for extended periods, and respond to emergencies as needed.
