Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AV Technician to join our team at Accor. As an AV Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all audio-visual equipment and systems in our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Health and Safety
  • Ensure all work follows safe work practices and procedures.
  • Respond immediately to all work requests which concern Health and Safety.
Guest Services
  • Respond to guest requests promptly in a professional and courteous manner.
Equipment Maintenance
  • Operate, maintain and repair all audio, visual, lighting and related equipment.
  • Evaluate and appropriately respond to equipment usage and energy efficiency.
Documentation and Reporting
  • Complete all work orders with due diligence.
  • Maintain a daily log book highlighting problems and solutions; and activities.
  • Maintain health and safety documentation and records for the assigned area.
Team Collaboration
  • Participate as directed in the emergency response team.
  • Complete tasks as assigned by AV Supervisor / Shift Supervisor.
Requirements
  1. Highly Responsible and Reliable
  2. Technical Skills
  • Previous experience with painting, plumbing, electrical wiring and other related experience is an asset.
  • Previous experience with pool and spa is an asset.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as a part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • Enthusiastic and dependable.
  • Active listening.
  • A self-starter, take initiative, can make decisions in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Language Skills
  • Proficient in the English language (verbal & written), second language is an asset.
