The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient delivery of services, which is vital for achieving safe, secure, and timely flight operations while maximizing payload uplift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with airport authorities to define and develop the infrastructure roadmap, ensuring optimal operational availability while supporting the ongoing development of airport facilities.
- Oversee the production of weight and balance documentation, adhering to industry standards to maintain aircraft safety and maximize commercial load.
- Implement automated loading reconciliation systems across the network, ensuring rigorous control of processes and staff training to achieve high operational standards.
- Manage the Service Level Agreement (SLA) with ground handling partners, monitoring performance against safety, regulatory requirements, and service quality metrics.
- Lead the Hub Control Centre operations, focusing on maximizing connectivity and ensuring effective communication during disruptions.
- Ensure the tactical planning of aircraft movements to optimize parking stand utilization and represent corporate interests in airport facility planning discussions.
- Supervise Ground Dispatch operations to ensure flight safety and on-time departures while empowering the team to make decisions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Continuously monitor competitor activities and research innovations in processes and technologies to drive operational efficiencies.
- Maintain the highest standards of safety and security across all functions, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations while fostering effective communication with all airport departments.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A completed Degree or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Airport Operations or Ground Services.
- In-depth knowledge of airport handling procedures, operational services, and movement control.
- Familiarity with safety and emergency procedures at major airports and international standards.
- Proficiency in terminal radar systems and airport communication technologies.
- Understanding of flight planning procedures and aviation terminology.
