Key Responsibilities
  • Expertise Development: Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of corporate tax and VAT regulations to guide compliance efforts.
  • Compliance Management: Oversee and enhance compliance controls throughout the tax return process.
  • Strategic Implementation: Formulate and execute tax strategies that align with the overall business goals of the organization.
  • Tax Return Review: Conduct thorough reviews of tax returns, ensuring accuracy in general ledger reconciliations and audit files.
  • Regulatory Adherence: Guarantee compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT and corporate tax.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Audit Liaison: Collaborate with auditors and manage inquiries related to tax audits as necessary.
  • Training Participation: Assist in the development and delivery of training sessions on VAT and corporate tax for internal teams.
Additional Responsibilities

In addition to the primary duties, you will also:

  • Address queries and provide reporting to senior management on various issues and projects.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at minimizing tax compliance risks.
  • Perform other ad hoc tasks as required by the organization.
  • Possess a detailed understanding of transfer pricing regulations and oversee the bank's transfer pricing policy.
  • Be knowledgeable about the OECD BEPS framework.
