Position Overview: The International Trade Coordinator is an entry-level role that serves as a foundation for a career in global commerce. The coordinator will engage in comprehensive training and development, mastering essential skills such as logistics management, compliance with trade regulations, and effective communication strategies. Upon successful completion of the training program, the coordinator will advance to a more specialized role within the organization.

Compensation: The salary for this position is competitive and includes additional benefits.

Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Participating in training sessions and workshops to develop a thorough understanding of international trade practices.
  • Assisting in the preparation of documentation required for import and export activities.
  • Engaging in market research to identify potential trade opportunities.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and partners.
  • Contributing to team efforts in achieving departmental goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a combination of education and experience that equips them with the necessary knowledge and skills. A typical pathway includes:

  • A minimum age of 20 at the time of application.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in Business Administration or International Relations is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of customer service principles, modern office practices, and basic mathematics. The ability to:

  • Engage in training exercises and classroom learning.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

The role may require participation in various training exercises, both indoors and outdoors, ensuring readiness for the demands of international trade operations.
