Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitality Associate to join our team at The First Group Dubai. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and make them feel welcome, ensuring a positive first impression of our restaurant.
  • Menu Management: Introduce customers to our menu, highlighting daily and seasonal specials, and answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and pricing.
  • Order Taking: Take customers' orders accurately and efficiently, either by writing them on a ticket, entering them into our ordering system, or memorizing them.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pass customer orders along to our kitchen staff for preparation, and ensure that orders are delivered to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Drink Service: Prepare and serve drinks to customers, ensuring that they are made to their liking.
  • Food Service: Collect food orders from the kitchen, verify that they are correct, and serve them to customers.
  • Table Maintenance: Remove used dishes, glasses, and flatware from tables, and refill condiments as needed.
  • Payment Processing: Process cash and credit card payments, and return change to customers as necessary.
  • Table Setting: Set tables with dishes, glasses, and flatware, and ensure that they are clean and well-maintained.
  • Knowledge and Communication: Maintain familiarity with menu items, specials, and restaurant information, and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure a seamless dining experience.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven work experience as a Waiter or Waitress in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with cash handling procedures and ordering information systems.
