  1. Prepare and Serve Beverage Orders: To prepare and serve beverage orders according to recipes and service standards, ensuring that every drink meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
  2. Product Knowledge: To be fully knowledgeable about all bar products and cocktail recipes, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairing suggestions.
  3. Upselling and Customer Service: To be able to up sell each time with each customer, providing personalized recommendations and exceptional customer service to drive sales and enhance the guest experience.
  4. Quality and Efficiency: To provide a high standard of quality and efficient service, ensuring that every guest interaction is positive and memorable.
  5. Mise-en-Place and Side Duties: To prepare mise-en-place and perform side duties, such as cleaning and maintaining the bar area, to ensure a clean and organized environment for guests and colleagues.
  6. Requisitions and Inventory: To collect all general requisitions and food and beverage requisitions, and to strictly adhere to opening and closing procedures established for the outlet, including checking beverage stock and monitoring operating supplies.
  7. Beverage Knowledge and Garnishes: To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all beverage items and to prepare garnishes for each cocktail accordingly, ensuring that every drink is presented with flair and attention to detail.
  8. Bar Maintenance and Organization: To ensure that the bar counter and surrounding area is kept clean and organized at all times, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests and colleagues.
  9. Operating Supplies and Waste Reduction: To monitor operating supplies and reduce spoilage and wastage, ensuring that every resource is used efficiently and effectively.
  10. Guest Enquiries and Relationships: To handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, establishing a rapport with guests and maintaining good customer relationships.
  11. Cashiering and Outlet Procedures: To perform cashiering functions and to ensure that the outlet cashiering procedures are strictly adhered to, maintaining accurate records and ensuring seamless transactions.
  12. Presentation and Display: To ensure proper presentation display of premium liquors on every shelf, following defined quantities and maintaining a visually appealing environment.
  13. Training and Development: To have ready garnishes for all cocktails upon opening of the bar, and to coach and train new recruits through on-the-job training, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance the skills of colleagues.
