We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Human Resources and Organizational Development to join our team at Americana Restaurants. This is a critical role that will play a key part in shaping the future of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership and Compliance
- Provide Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with our senior leadership team to develop and implement HR strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
- Ensure Legal Compliance: Ensure that all HR practices and policies are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
- Champion Diversity and Inclusion: Develop and implement initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within our organization.
- Develop HR Frameworks: Oversee the development and implementation of HR frameworks and tools that support business objectives.
- People Development and Performance Management
- Enhance Learning and Development: Collaborate with our learning and development team to design and deliver training programs that meet business needs.
- Strengthen Talent Pipeline: Develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent within our organization.
- Coach and Develop Team Members: Provide coaching and development opportunities to our team members to help them meet their full potential.
- Promote People Practices: Develop and implement people practices that support our business objectives and promote a positive work culture.
- Operational Excellence
- HR Performance Reporting: Develop and implement HR performance reporting tools that provide insights into HR metrics and trends.
- Align Recruitment with Strategy: Collaborate with our recruitment team to ensure that recruitment efforts are aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee Onboarding and Offboarding: Develop and implement onboarding and offboarding processes that support a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees.
- Optimize Resource Allocation: Develop and implement strategies to optimize resource allocation within our organization.
- Employee Relations and Engagement
- Support Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters.
- Enhance Work Relationships: Develop and implement strategies to enhance work relationships and promote a positive work culture.
- Drive Vision and Strategy Execution: Collaborate with our senior leadership team to communicate and execute our organizational vision and strategy.
- Ensure Effective Communication: Develop and implement communication strategies that ensure effective communication across our organization.
- Model Compliance and Core Values: Uphold our organization's core values and ensure that all HR practices and policies are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 15+ years of comprehensive experience in HR management, including recruitment, selection, training, development, performance management, compensation, organizational design, change management, and employee/industrial relations.
- HR Business Partnering: Proven experience as an HR business partner in international, consumer-focused environments, aligning HR strategies with business objectives.
- Senior Leadership Engagement: Experienced in advising senior leaders, maintaining credibility and influence at all levels.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Skilled in working with leadership peers to drive cross-functional initiatives and achieve shared goals.
- Global Perspective: Experience in multinational organizations, particularly with exposure to US or European operations.
- Industry Insight: Expertise in fast-paced, customer-centric industries, adapting HR strategies to dynamic business needs.
- Labor Relations: In-depth knowledge of labor laws and negotiation techniques, with experience in managing complex employee relations scenarios.
- Organizational Development: Familiarity with organizational design and change management strategies to enhance culture, satisfaction, and performance.
- HR Technology: Proficient in HR systems and leveraging technology for efficient HR management, data analysis, and decision-making.
- Global HR Practices: Knowledge of international HR standards and compliance, with experience in aligning global practices with local regulations.
