About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Engineer to join our team at Duncan & Ross. As an HVAC Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the comfort, health, and energy efficiency of our building projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Supervise and manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems on-site, ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any on-site issues related to HVAC installations, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed site reports, documentation, and records, ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Client Liaison: Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met, providing technical support and guidance as needed.
  • Design Review: Review and approve HVAC system designs and modifications, ensuring they meet industry standards and best practices.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in HVAC engineering, applying this knowledge to improve project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-12 years of work experience as a HVAC Engineer, with project experience in high-rise buildings in the GCC region preferably from contracting companies.
  • Skills: Extensive knowledge of HVAC design principles, codes, and standards, good knowledge of piping and ducting, proficiency in HVAC design and project management software, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
