About the Role

The HVAC Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort, health, and energy efficiency of indoor environments in building projects. This position requires a strong technical background in HVAC engineering, with a focus on designing, installing, and commissioning HVAC systems that meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  1. System Design and Installation: Design and oversee the installation of HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
  2. Site Inspections and Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress, identify potential issues, and ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
  3. Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project execution and timely completion.
  4. Technical Support and Guidance: Provide technical support and guidance to site teams and junior engineers, ensuring they have the necessary expertise to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
  5. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities, as well as prepare and submit reports as required.
  6. Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in HVAC engineering.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 8-12 years of work experience as an HVAC Engineer, with a strong background in high-rise building projects in the GCC region.
  3. Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of HVAC design principles, codes, and standards, as well as proficiency in HVAC design and project management software.
  4. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
