Key Responsibilities- Supports Clinic Operations: The Clinical Operations Supervisor will assist in the daily functioning of the clinic/department, ensuring that all patient care activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
- Supervises Patient Relations Staff: The successful candidate will provide ongoing and continuous supervision of all Patient Relations Staff, ensuring that they are proficient in the iConnect Practice Management System and other required hospital training programs.
- Liaises with IT Department: The Clinical Operations Supervisor will liaise with the IT department to address and troubleshoot iConnect operational issues as they present.
- Monitors Cash Outstanding: The successful candidate will monitor cash outstanding/Noshow/Employer details report on a daily basis, investigating all accounts of patient walkouts and late charges entries.
- Provides Cashier Training: The Clinical Operations Supervisor will provide cashier training to reduce cash outstanding episodes.
- Collaborates with Finance Department: The successful candidate will work collaboratively and effectively with the finance department and other hospital staff to reduce cash outstanding.
- Liaises with Insurance Department: The Clinical Operations Supervisor will liaise with the Insurance Department to resolve registration errors.
- Manages Schedules: The successful candidate will arrange the monthly schedule of the reception, switchboard, porters, and Patient Relations Executives of clinics without Clinic Managers.
- Organizes Master Schedule: The Clinical Operations Supervisor will organize the master schedule of all Patient Relations staff to ensure adequate coverage of the clinics.
- Reassigns Staff: The successful candidate will reassign Patient Relations Executives to cover clinic areas in times of illness or vacations in collaboration with the floor leaders under the supervision of the line manager of clinic operation.
- Participates in Interviews: The Clinical Operations Supervisor will participate in the interview of new Patient Relations Executives.
- Ensures Proficiency: The successful candidate will ensure that all Patient Relations Staff are proficient in the Down Time Procedure.
- Adheres to Hospital Code of Conduct: The Clinical Operations Supervisor will perform all duties and tasks as per the hospital Code of Conduct and in line with the hospital's Vision and Mission.
- Maintains Professionalism: The successful candidate will remain professional at all times and will not be involved in any out-of-committee/department discussion regarding policies, data, and information obtained within the department and as part of assigned duties.
