This is a key role within the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, responsible for driving the development of our colleagues and ensuring that our learning and development programs meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning and Management
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
    • Manage and coordinate the delivery of learning and development programs across the hotel and individual departments.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate and maintain the company's learning and development standards with the Executive Committee, Hotel Manager, and General Manager.
    • Collaborate with department heads to ensure that learning and development needs are met and that training programs are effective.
  • Training Program Design and Delivery
    • Design, develop, and deliver training programs that address specific training needs and meet the company's learning and development standards.
    • Ensure that training programs are delivered in a first-class environment that emulates the guest experience.
  • Training Administration and Resources
    • Manage and coordinate the administration of training programs, including scheduling, logistics, and resources.
    • Ensure that training resources are available and accessible to all colleagues.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Relevant degree in a field such as education, training, or human resources.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a learning and development role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Strong strategic planning and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to design and deliver effective training programs.
    • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
