Job Summary:

ENGIE Middle East is seeking a highly skilled BMS Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Building Management System (BMS) and Data Center infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain the BMS system to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Perform routine checks on control equipment to ensure correct operation.
  • Adjust variables and parameters to ensure systems are operating within parameters.
  • Monitor and record values of HVAC systems to build a database of records for energy efficiency improvement.
  • Communicate maintenance and repair actions in writing to management as required.
  • Follow protocols for unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
  • Monitor and verify operation of all BMS field devices.
  • Adjust BMS settings and parameters to meet changing conditions.
  • Record maintenance data and generate reports as needed.
  • Maintain job card documentation for all alarms or changes to systems and/or equipment.
  • Monitor fire detection alarm systems, water tank supply level alarms, and other critical systems.
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the Facility Engineer.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge of BMS systems and data center infrastructure.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing conditions and priorities.

Working Conditions:

This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
