Culture and Engagement Manager is a pivotal role at Asterix Communications, responsible for shaping and cultivating a positive and inclusive organizational culture that fosters employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being. Key Responsibilities
  1. Employee Engagement
    1. Develop an employee engagement roadmap that promotes a culture of growth and well-being, ensuring a high level of employee satisfaction and engagement.
    2. Measure and track employee engagement levels, and continuously refine engagement programs based on feedback and data, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
    3. Provide insights at the Business Unit (BU) level and engage in action planning and road mapping to drive business outcomes.
  2. Culture Development
    1. Create and foster a positive and inclusive organizational culture that aligns with the company's vision and values, promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
    2. Redefine cultural goals, initiatives, and interventions that foster a positive and inclusive work environment and enhance employee engagement, ensuring a high level of cultural alignment.
    3. Support the development of a diversity and inclusion strategy roadmap and programs in the Group, promoting a culture of belonging and respect.
    4. Design inclusive workspaces through policies, SOPs changes, physical space design, and other initiatives, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
    5. Support change enablement through multiple stakeholders, change planning, and tracking, ensuring a smooth transition to new initiatives.
    6. Ensure that employees understand the rationale for change, the impact on the culture, and their role in it, promoting a culture of transparency and open communication.
  3. HR Communication
    1. Develop and deliver clear and engaging HR communication that aligns with the culture and goals, ensuring a high level of employee understanding and engagement.
    2. Collaborate with Business Units (BUs) across multiple geographies to ensure alignment and effective communication of HR initiatives, promoting a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
    3. Approve content being communicated as part of HR Communication, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
    4. Work closely with the Corporate Communications team to develop internal HR communication strategies and enhance the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) through external communication channels, promoting a culture of employer branding.
    5. Communicate on culture enhancement and employee engagement while overseeing day-to-day operational tasks, ensuring a high level of employee satisfaction and engagement.
    6. Utilize design thinking principles to create compelling content and communications materials that resonate with diverse audiences, promoting a culture of creativity and innovation.
    7. Demonstrate proficiency in graphic design tools like Canva or equivalent, ensuring visually appealing content for various communication platforms.
  4. Event Management & Operational Coordination
    1. Provide hands-on support for the planning, logistics, and execution of culture, employee engagement events, diversity and inclusion initiatives, including town halls, team-building activities, and events, promoting a culture of community and connection.
    2. Collaborate with HR teams to implement culture enhancement initiatives, such as culture and values training workshops and programs, ensuring a high level of cultural alignment.
    3. Develop and distribute internal HR communications, including newsletters, announcements, and intranet updates, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of information to employees, promoting a culture of transparency and open communication.
    4. Manage feedback mechanisms and surveys to gather insights on employee satisfaction, engagement levels, and areas for improvement, and support the analysis and reporting of results, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
    5. Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers for event logistics, promotional materials, and other support services, ensuring cost-effective solutions and timely delivery, promoting a culture of efficiency and effectiveness.
    6. Manage key projects and day-to-day operational tasks, ensuring a high level of productivity and efficiency.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  1. Employee Engagement survey index quality and quantity of engagement action plan and completion percentage.
  2. Number of culture and value embedding initiative implementations.
  3. Cultural alignment.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business Administration, or related field. Additional relevant certifications/education will be an added advantage.

Work Experience Requirement: At least 5-7 years of demonstrated experience in culture development and managing employee engagement as well as surveys, within a large/fast-paced environment. Strong HR Communication experience in HR and/or Communication function. Excellent written and spoken English. Experience in HR communication, employee engagement, or related areas, with a strong focus on project management and operational excellence. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and coordinate with stakeholders across different business units and geographical locations. Hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution that can support strategy. Familiarity with design thinking methodologies and proficiency in graphic design tools like Canva or equivalent. Passion for promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives within the organization (experience in DEI is a plus but not mandatory).
