AlFuttaim Group, a leading regional business headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Product Information Manager to oversee the management of product information and digital assets. This role is critical in ensuring accurate, consistent, and up-to-date product data is available for our ecommerce platform and other channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • PIM System Management: Implement and optimize the PIM system to efficiently manage product information attributes and hierarchies.
  • Product Information Management: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of product information across all channels, including ecommerce.
  • Translation Management: Lead a team of translators to deliver high-quality translations of product information in multiple languages.
  • Digital Asset Management: Manage the DAM system, ensuring efficient storage, organization, and retrieval of digital assets.
  • Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with solution providers, define requirements, and enforce training and best practices.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of translators and copywriters, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Performance Management: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost, SLA, and delivery timelines. Optimize workload and leverage AI to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to improve product information processes and workflows.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure product information needs are met.

Requirements:

  • Excellent English skills (speaking, writing, and reading). Arabic would be an advantage.

  • Candidate with a proven track record in managing large datasets, implementing PIM and DAM systems, and leading teams of translators and copywriters. Preferably has previous supervisory/auditing experience.
  • Solid understanding of marketing media and technology.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to succeed in a multicultural environment.
  • High level of initiative, problem-solving, and decision-making ability.
  • Target-oriented and drive to exceed demanding challenges.

What Equips You for the Role:

  • Bachelor's degree in digital photography, advertising, illustration, marketing, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in ecommerce with hands-on core SEO & Merchandising.
  • Proven experience in product information management, including PIM and DAM system implementation.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce requirements and product information standards.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience leading and developing teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of multiple product categories and related terminology.
  • Experience with AI-powered tools for content creation and optimization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
