Job Summary

The Reservations Supervisor at Sofitel is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the reservation department, ensuring that sales agents are meeting their responsibilities and that the workload is distributed fairly and completed in a timely and professional manner.

Main Responsibilities

  • Revenue Maximization
    • Supervise the reservation sales agents to ensure they are meeting their sales targets and converting telephone calls into sales.
    • Utilize effective up-selling techniques to maximize room revenue.
    • Understand and implement Accor's Pricing Strategies and Revenue Management principles to optimize revenue.
  • Department Management
    • Ensure the reservation department is running smoothly and efficiently.
    • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales performance.
  • Product Knowledge
    • Be fluent in all hotel products and services.
    • Stay up-to-date with hotel offerings and promotions.
  • Quality and Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customer interactions are handled in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
