**JOB PROFILE:

- Sales & Pricing Executive**

**Location:

- DUBAI - UAE**

**Reporting To:

- MAIN BRANCH - BAHRAIN**

**Role / Purpose**

The Sales Executive is responsible for servicing, retaining and growing the countries national portfolio of Customer Service Accounts, by providing a high quality service at the lowest possible cost of service.

Main Objectives:

- Provide support service to the field sales team, ensuring customers /clients are given timely and correct support regarding their shipment / their business.
- Ensure we get maximum hit rate on our quotations and Increase customer base.
- Attend RFQ’s in a timely manner & Keep up with industry trends.
- Translates customer strategy into meaningful opportunities of value for Organization
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
- In charge of maintaining and updating CRM and ensuring easy access of sales data from CRM.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

**Key Activities / Accountabilities**
- To procure best / competitive rates from Airlines, Shipping lines, Road Freight & 3rd Party Vendor’s.
- To beat customer’s expectations by providing prompt service and good rates.
- Proficient in standard logistics cycle with pricing factors, liaise and negotiate with suppliers(Agents) to meet client requirements
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints from shipment arrangements till delivery point
- Ability to work independently and multitasking.
- Ensure quotation references are given to operations for each shipment.
- Respond to quotations within 24 hours (weekdays).
- CRM to be updated with Quotes, Sale, Won, Lost, Telephone, Task, etc.
- Weekly reporting to Management.
- Ensure that customer database is well maintained & organized.
- Ensure that customer contracts are filed.
- Implement auto-rating and monitor performance of each department

**Special Working Conditions**

Occasional outside office hours during busy periods ( such as end of month & on business travels if required )

**Essential Educational and / or Training Qualifications & Certificates**

Degree in business administration or Freight Forwarding.

Similar Qualifications in Field of Freight & Forwarding Industry, DG Certificates, IATA, FIATA etc.

**Preferred Experience and Knowledge**
- At least 2 years relevant working experience indoor / outdoor Sales of a Logistics & Freight Forwarding accounts. Preferably experienced & awareness of UAE commercial markets.
- Applicant to prove a good history record of sales success of pre-endeavor volumes.

**Necessary Technical / Functional Skills**
- Good time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills
- Work under own initiative
- Fluent in English language both written and spoken, if other languages added.
- Responsible for developing a plan to achieve sales target.
- Take ownership of customer issues and follow-through till resolution
- Represent the firm in negotiating and building relationship with shipping lines & and carriers
- Perform Cold calling and work to build a book of businesses.
- Great knowledge in freight forwarding sales executive must have good understanding of all method of logístical sales concepts and techniques of attracting customers towards to secure long-term business relationship.
- Proven working experience in Logistics sales especially handling best suggestions to client queries

- Must maintain consistently positive interactions to nurture customer relationships.
- Interpersonal skills: Networking and relationship building are vital to getting referrals and successfully closing sales, hence, to succeed as Sales & Pricing Executive, individuals must be able to develop strong business relationships within all levels of the company and with potential and existing clients.
- Time management and ability to multitask arrangement and priorities.
- Engages in research for the purpose of expanding personal and company knowledge of industry trends, best practices, marketing and sales
