Job Overview:
The Animal Feed Salesman is responsible for selling animal feed products to customers, equestrian clubs, stables, and livestock producers. The Animal Feed Salesman will work closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences and will develop and maintain strong relationships with them to drive sales growth.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Identify and target potential customers, equestrian clubs, stables, and livestock producers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing them with personalized service and support.
- Understand customer needs and preferences, and recommend the most appropriate animal feed products to meet their requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and developments, and use this knowledge to inform sales strategies.
- Develop and implement sales plans to drive growth and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and events.
- Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback, and use this information to inform sales and product development strategies.
- Manage customer orders and delivery logistics, ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and reports, and provide regular updates to management.
