**Job Description: Business Development Manager**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Strategic Planning and Execution**:
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with Lootah Biofuels’ mission and growth objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, potential markets, and competitive landscape.
- **Market Expansion and Revenue Growth**:
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including market segments, geographic regions, and potential clients.
- Drive revenue growth through the acquisition of new clients and expansion of existing accounts.
- **Partnership and Relationship Management**:
- Forge and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including government entities, industry associations, and corporate clients.
- Manage relationships with existing clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- **Product and Service Innovation**:
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to identify opportunities for new product development and enhancements to existing offerings.
- Promote innovative solutions that address customer needs and differentiate Lootah Biofuels in the market.
- **Sales and Marketing Collaboration**:
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective campaigns and initiatives that drive lead generation and conversion.
- Provide insights and feedback to refine marketing strategies and messaging.
- **Performance Metrics and Reporting**:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business development efforts.
- Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities, performance, and outcomes to senior management.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, preferably within the alternative fuels or energy sector.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of the biofuels market and sustainable energy solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market data and trends.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
