**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Work on selling the Sponsorship, Exhibition and Delegate Sales for assigned conferences and events
- Strategically manage an existing territory, developing sales plans and pipelines that will lead to achievement of goals
- Manage pipeline utilizing strong organizational and planning skills to accomplish monthly objectives
- Make a priority of growing business by acting as a strategic partner for current customers as well as through prospecting and cold calling
- Leverage the brand content team to help build partnerships and grow relationships
- Create custom proposals combining client and market-focused data with creative solutions to meet clients' objectives
- Develop and grow relationships with current and new accounts through scheduled calls, face-to-face meetings, and by attending industry events when possible
- Meet and exceed events budgeted sales goals
- Contribute to the creation of new events and product development.
- Work closely with customers to create new opportunities for the company.
- Establish and maintain a regular schedule of telephone contact with regular key clients.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting, or media
- Proven sales record of selling events

- Strong understanding of events industry
- Keeping up to date with recent media trends
- Has a customer-centric mindset and strong interpersonal skills
- Is a problem-solver and has a can-do attitude
- Can foster a positive work-place attitude and encourage a collaborative spirit
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Highly driven and self-motivated
- Computer literate and proficient in the use of commonly used business software
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills
