**Overview**:
As an IT Support Staff member, you will be a crucial part of our Information Technology (IT) team, providing technical assistance and support to end-users within the organization. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with system maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT services. The IT Support Staff is expected to possess strong technical skills, excellent communication, and a customer-focused approach.

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Technical Support**:

- Provide first-level technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems promptly and efficiently.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate IT teams when necessary.

**2. Hardware and Software Maintenance**:

- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as updates, patches, and system backups.
- Monitor and manage the inventory of IT equipment and peripherals.

**3. User Assistance**:

- Assist end-users with IT-related queries, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and efficient user experience.

**4. Network Support**:

- Troubleshoot and resolve basic network connectivity issues.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of network devices, including routers and switches.

**5. Security**:

- Implement and enforce IT security protocols.
- Assist in monitoring and addressing potential security threats.

**6. Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT procedures, configurations, and issue resolutions.
- Create user guides and documentation for common IT processes.

**7. Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other IT team members to resolve complex issues.
- Collaborate with different departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.

**Qualifications**:
**1. Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

**2. Technical Skills**:

- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Knowledge of operating systems, including Windows and macOS.
- Familiarity with network protocols, configurations, and troubleshooting.

**3. Customer Service**:

- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate technical information in a clear and understandable manner.

**4. Problem-Solving**:

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.

**5. Adaptability**:

- Ability to adapt to new technologies and quickly learn new skills.

**6. Team Player**:

- Collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team.

**7. Certifications**:

- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
