The assistant's main responsibility is to ensure that administrative tasks related to food operations run smoothly and efficiently. Below are some typical duties that this role might entail:
1. Office Management: This includes tasks such as answering phones, filing paperwork, managing mail, and maintaining office supplies.

2. Scheduling: The assistant may be responsible for scheduling staff shifts and ensuring adequate coverage during all business hours. They might also manage reservations or event bookings.

3. Order Processing and Inventory: They often handle processing supplier orders for food and beverages, ensuring that all necessary ingredients and supplies are in stock. They might also conduct inventory checks and report on stock levels.

4. Vendor Relationships: The assistant might liaise with vendors and suppliers, placing orders, negotiating pricing, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships.

5. Record Keeping: They often maintain records related to food safety, health inspections, licensing, and staff training.

6. Financial Tasks: They may assist with financial tasks such as invoicing, tracking payments, petty cash management, and basic bookkeeping.

Ability to commute/relocate:

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- administrative assistant: 3 years (preferred)
- Food Industry: 3 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English, Hindi (preferred)
