Document Controller with Basic Accounting Experience

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Organize, classify, and manage both electronic and hard copy documents.
- Maintain and update records, files, and document logs to ensure proper documentation flow and access.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and relevant regulations related to document management.
- Prepare and track documents for distribution to internal and external stakeholders (e.g., suppliers, customers, regulatory bodies).
- Archive and store documents in a secure and accessible manner for easy retrieval.
- Assist in implementing and improving document control processes and systems.
- Assist with basic accounting tasks, such as invoice processing, data entry into accounting software, and reconciling vendor statements.
- Support in maintaining accurate records of transactions, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Assist in preparing reports for financial reviews and audits.
- Help track and manage payments, receipts, and purchase orders related to foodstuffs trading.
- Coordinate and communicate with various departments to ensure timely document processing and accuracy.
- Support the finance and procurement teams with document-related inquiries.
- Assist with inventory management and documentation related to product shipments, deliveries, and stock levels.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred.

**Experience**:

- At least 1-2 years of experience in document control or a similar administrative role.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and prior experience with invoicing, data entry, or financial recordkeeping is required.
