CURRENT HIRING: Assistant Manager - Restaurant Industry
**Responsibilities**:
Operational Leadership: Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, staffing, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Customer Service Excellence: Lead by example in providing outstanding customer service, resolving customer complaints or concerns promptly, and maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Team Management: Supervise and motivate restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen staff, and support personnel, to ensure high levels of performance, productivity, and morale.
Training and Development: Train new hires on restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards, and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
Financial Management: Assist in managing restaurant finances, including monitoring expenses, controlling costs, and optimizing profitability through effective budgeting and revenue management strategies.
Quality Assurance: Uphold high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues or discrepancies to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels effectively, conducting regular inventory counts, monitoring stock levels, and placing orders as needed to ensure adequate supply while minimizing waste and spoilage.
Scheduling: Assist in creating and maintaining staff schedules, taking into account business needs, labor laws, and employee availability, to ensure optimal staffing levels during peak and off-peak hours.
Promotions and Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional activities, special events, and marketing campaigns to attract new customers and drive repeat business.
Adherence to Policies: Enforce company policies and procedures regarding food safety, sanitation, employee conduct, and compliance with local regulations to maintain a safe and legally compliant work environment.
Qualifications:
Restaurant Industry Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the restaurant industry, with at least 3 year in a supervisory or management role.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate, coach, and mentor staff to achieve excellence in performance and customer service.
Customer Focus: A genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, staff, and vendors.
Problem-Solving Ability: Proven ability to quickly and effectively resolve issues or conflicts as they arise, using sound judgment and decision-making skills.
Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and delegate responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the demands of the business.
