Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Delegate & Membership Acquisition:

- Develop and implement effective strategies to acquire event delegates, including researching potential attendees, reaching out to target audience segments, and promoting event benefits.
- Create compelling sales pitches and presentations to engage potential attendees and convert leads into confirmed delegates.

2. Sales Revenue Generation:

- Meet and exceed sales targets by effectively selling event delegate packages and related services.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with potential delegates, ensuring maximum revenue generation for the organization.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align sales efforts with marketing campaigns and initiatives.

3. Relationship Building:

- Cultivate strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to delegates, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of delegate services before, during, and after events.

4. Market Research and Analysis:

- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for innovation.
- Analyze sales data and attendee feedback to continuously improve sales strategies and customer satisfaction.

5. Reporting and Documentation:

- Prepare regular reports detailing sales activities, revenue generated, and progress toward targets.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, contracts, and customer interactions using CRM software.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales and delegate acquisition within the events industry - Expected minimum 3-5 years
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel and attend events as required.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales goals.
