The Global Employee Relations Manager is responsible for legal issues that arise from the employer/employee relationship and facilitate employee relations and human resources matters on behalf of the company.

**Responsibilities**:
**Employment law**:
In coordination with the General Counsel and/or the legal counsel overseeing the relevant region/country:

- Provide legal advice on labor and employment-related matters for Aramex and all its subsidiaries worldwide, which may include, but are not limited to, human resources issues, wage and working time law, workers’ compensation, labor union activity, employee benefits, employment agreements, and policy-related issues, employment-related litigation and arbitration, and generally assist the General Counsel with the above-related matters.
- Provide employment law support on corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions.
- Draft employment agreements, offer letters, and termination of employment letters/agreements in line with the applicable laws and regulations.
- Supervise, manage and evaluate outside counsel on employment-related matters, including litigation.
- Support and advise the business on legal compliance with all federal, state, unions, and local laws pertaining to employment such as but not limited to discrimination, human rights, healthcare regulations, health, and safety, etc.
- Act as the Centre of Expertise on employment law, ensuring that the different activities, programs, and initiatives the HR function delivers are in full compliance with employment law.
- Act as the Centre of Expertise in liaison with the HRBP and the Legal Team in case of litigation cases between employees and Aramex.
- Perform other tasks as assigned from time to time by the General Counsel.

**Employee Relations/Workplace Rights/Whistleblowing**:

- Deal with grievances and employee concerns as they relate to HR matters, reported through the whistle blower portal.
- Listen to employees' concerns, issues and complaints; address them to encourage a supportive atmosphere and resolve them in a way to protect the general interests of all parties.
- Perform and support the business with investigations regarding allegations in various employee cases and dispute resolution.
- Ensure that disciplinary procedures are being run fairly and in full respect of the employee and in compliance with legal requirements.
- Provide managers with guidance and advice on how to effectively deal with employees, especially in challenging situations.
- Act as an unbiased third party to address and resolve workplace conflicts in a positive and balanced manner that benefits all parties and promotes healthy working relationships.
- Take initiatives related to employee relations management and make recommendations to management as necessary.
- Collaborate and Coordinate with the Sustainability Group and other stakeholders to ensure Human, Workplace, and Labor Rights policies and International Labor standards and protocols are clearly communicated and followed.
- Act as the Centre of Expertise in liaison with HR and the Internal Audit department in case of HR audit findings, supporting HR in putting actions in place to address such findings.
- Monitor usage and analyze ER cases reported in Success Factors.
- Update and maintain the HR Hub including policies and legal/ ER templates in the ER Library.
- Develop and deliver HR and all-Aramex training in relation to employment law and ER issues.
- Support the legal team by contributing to the quarterly legal risk profile to ensure changes to employment laws are captured.

**Global Policy Design**:

- Ensure that policies are designed to enable Aramex’s values and strategic direction, and are in compliance with labor law regulations.
- Drive the rollout, communication and education when new policies are developed.

**Job Requirements (Experience and Education)**
- **Bachelor's or a master’ degree in law **from the UK or the US is preferred.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar position.
- Familiarity with Employment law in the key countries Aramex operates in
