We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Animal Trainer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As an Assistant Animal Trainer, you will work closely with our team of animal trainers to assist in the care, training, and enrichment of our animals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the daily care and husbandry of animals, including feeding, cleaning, grooming, and providing enrichment activities.
- Assist with training sessions for animals, including obedience training, behavior modification, and performance routines.
- Participate in animal handling and restraint under the guidance of experienced trainers, ensuring the safety and well-being of both animals and staff.
- Provide positive reinforcement to animals during training sessions, using treats, toys, and praise to encourage desired behaviors.
- Monitor animal health and behavior, reporting any concerns or abnormalities to the senior animal care staff.
- Assist with the maintenance and cleanliness of animal enclosures, habitats, and training areas.
- Prepare and distribute diets for animals according to established guidelines and dietary requirements.
- Assist with the preparation and execution of educational presentations, demonstrations, and public interactions involving animals.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of daily routines and special events.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance animal care and training skills.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines for working with animals and equipment.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines related to animal care and training.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with animals in a zoo, aquarium, wildlife park, or similar setting is preferred but not required.
- Passion for animal welfare and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of animals.
- Basic knowledge of animal behavior, learning theory, and training principles.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and agility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and walking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with visitors, colleagues, and animals in a professional manner.
- Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, as needed.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the UAE.
