**Academic Data, ISAMS and Systems Manager - Through School at Safa Community School, Dubai**:
**Job Purpose**:
The Data Manager is responsible for overseeing, organising, and storing data and providing specialist expertise and data analysis using the school’s management information system. Additionally, they are expected to promote and support the school's ethos, aims and vision and maintain its philosophy of education.

They will be responsible for maintaining the school’s Management Information Systems (iSAMS, Go4schools, and Seesaw) and implementing the strategic curriculum plan by creating a carefully considered timetable for both Primary and Secondary.

Managing the timetable’s day-to-day requirements, including but not limited to set changes, staff movements, curriculum changes, and student admissions procedures to SCS. Liaising with the SCS HR department to ensure that all records are accurate and up to date and playing a pivotal role in preparation for KHDA school performance data (GL, CAT4, PTS) and/or external inspection.

Managing in full the academic data and assessment systems across the schools, reporting to the Deputy Headteacher (Academic) and Senior Leader with responsibility for Reporting and Assessment across primary and secondary.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support the Senior Leadership Team in the creation of an innovative curriculum model that is both broad and varied.
- Create a timetable for the school that aligns with the vision presented by the Principal and Senior Leadership Team.
- Create the duty rota timetable and incorporate it into the main school timetable system.
- Maintain all elements of the timetable throughout the school year, ensuring that it is kept up to date and changes needed are done so in a well-planned way that keeps all relevant stakeholders informed of changes.
- Manage set changes from Curriculum Leaders throughout the school year.
- Provide both staff and students with printed timetables at the start of the year and when any significant changes are made to the timetable during the school year.
- Provide curriculum and timetabling information about students to other schools / alternative provisions as required.
- Create reports and analysis for internal and external sources, including but not limited to the leadership and middle managers; working knowledge of SQL would be advantageous.
- Have complete end-to-end ownership of assessment and data systems across the school.
- Add all collected information into go4schools after each assessment point.
- Create reports on student progress as required by the Data and Assessment Standard Operating Procedure.
- Provide key information to leaders after each assessment point
- Compile parental reports after each assessment point and distribute them through form groups.
- Provide data as required to the Principal and Senior Leadership Team.
- Manage mock examination data and collate and share the information as required.
- Add all new students to iSAMS and keep track of students who come on / off roll, seeking approval as required.

- The creation of a well-designed timetable that reflects the school ethos and ensures that students have the best possible chance to be successful in their GCSE examinations.
- The continuous successful maintenance of all elements of the timetable during the school year.
- Data input, analysis, key headlines whilst ensuring accuracy and security
- Manage appropriate permission levels, version control and legal requirements for data protection in order to ensure the integrity of the management information system.
