Key Responsiblities:

- Drive the business strategic account planning processes as well as account strategic growth strategy, and work cross functionally with all functions to ensure alignment between brand teams’ objectives and In field teams’ tactics.
- Establish, develop the key account management capabilities and lead the key account managers in the 5 countries in Gulf.
- Play a critical role in monthly Demand and supply and planning cycles by providing insights and recommendations to leadership team on performance from all angels; volumes, prices and external dynamics.
- Lead the operational pricing, tendering and contracting process for AbbVie portfolio with all different channels across Gulf.
- Coordinate with Finance and logistics’ teams to improve operational efficiency, by adhering to affiliate performance KPIs and mitigating/reducing different risks.
- Support in crafting and executing the integrated access strategy for key brands and create tailored access solutions to accelerate the patients’ access.
- Develop and maintain the strategic partnership with Gulf authorities’ leadership and decision makers.
- Support in managing the operations with the AbbVie Gulf distributors as well as providing analysis and guidance to management on their performance.

- Ability to **handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously **and meet deadlines, have **exceptional organizational skills**, and **demonstrate calmness in uncertain and stressful situations **inspiring the same in his team
- Ability to **lead cross-functionally** & guide the IFTs / BTs on understanding the emerging threats and opportunities that may present and impact the business
- Ability to provide **through robust scenario thinking/analysis**, demonstrate an in-depth ability to **anticipate and make flexible long-term plans**, generating simulations to **influence and feed the organization**
- Ability to **build** strong and long-lasting **partnership **with payers, decision makers and authorities’ leadership and distributors
- Ability to **manage complex negotiations and challenges, internally and externally **without notice by demonstrating **maturity and professionalism**
- Ability to learn about **local guidelines, policies and to work with market access team **to **build required strategic initiatives versus evolving policies **to reshape the environment

Knowledge:

- Knowledge of the healthcare landscape, including local payer, policies, regulations, and healthcare funding flows
- Knowledge of pharmaco-economic principles
- Being able to adapt to the internal policies and SOPs

Experience:

- 3-5 years’ experience of interacting and building relationships directly with healthcare stakeholders, in particular payers and policy makers, in Gulf countries
- 2-3 years’ experience managing a team
