Key Account Manager

As the Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with key accounts. Your role is pivotal in driving sales growth, expanding market share, and ensuring our products are prominently featured and available to consumers in the Modern Trade channel.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts in the Modern Trade segment, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
2. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the Modern Trade channel, including supermarkets and specialist stores.
3. Product Placement: Work closely with key accounts to ensure optimal product placement, visibility, and availability on store shelves.
4. Inventory Management: Collaborate with demand planning and supply chain teams to manage inventory levels and ensure timely product delivery.
5. Promotions and Marketing: Coordinate promotional activities and marketing initiatives within key accounts to boost product sales and brand awareness.
6. Sales Targets: Set and achieve sales targets and KPIs, with a focus on revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion within the Modern Trade segment.
7. Negotiations: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with key accounts to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
8. Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences within the Modern Trade channel, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
9. Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates on key account activities, sales performance, and market insights to senior management.
**Requirements**:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.
2. Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in key account management or sales, with a proven track record of success in managing accounts within the Modern Trade segment, in the UAE.
3. Sales and Relationship Building: Strong sales acumen and excellent relationship-building skills to effectively manage key accounts and drive sales growth.
5. Negotiation Skills: Proficient in negotiation techniques, able to secure favorable agreements with key accounts.
6. Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically, identify growth opportunities, and implement effective account management strategies.
7. Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Results-Driven: Highly motivated and results-oriented, with a drive to meet and exceed key account management targets.
9. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing market conditions.
10. UAE Experience: Familiarity with the business environment in Dubai and the UAE, including relevant contacts and networks within the Modern Trade segment.
11. Valid UAE driving license.
