Procurement Manager

**Reporting to: General Manager**
**Job Location: Fujairah **(relocation needed)
**Roles and Responsibilities**:
**1. Procurement Strategy & Planning**:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with Eva Interiors’ goals, ensuring cost-effectiveness (cost control and cost saving), quality, and timely delivery.
- Monitor and assess procurement trends, market conditions, and supplier performance to continuously improve procurement processes.
- Collaborate with the Design and Project Management teams to understand material and service requirements for ongoing and upcoming projects.
**2. Supplier Sourcing & Management**:
- Source, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers of furniture, materials, and services, ensuring they meet Eva Interiors’ quality standards and sustainability criteria.
- Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
- Enrich supplier database to achieve competitive pricing.
- Manage supplier performance through ongoing evaluations, regular communication, and timely resolution of any supply chain issues.
**3. Contract Management & Compliance**:
- Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Monitor supplier contracts, ensuring timely renewals, amendments, and adherence to agreed terms.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with Eva Interiors’ ethical standards, industry regulations, and environmental sustainability policies.
**4. Budgeting & Cost Control**:
- Manage procurement budgets for each project, ensuring cost control and cost saving practices and budget adherence.
- Track and report on spending to ensure the procurement budget is effectively managed and optimized for cost saving efforts.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality and project timelines.
**5. Inventory Management**:
- Oversee the inventory management process to ensure that materials and products are available when needed without overstocking or tying up unnecessary capital.
**6. Risk Management & Problem Solving**:
- Anticipate and mitigate procurement risks, including supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and price fluctuations.
- Resolve supplier-related issues promptly and effectively, ensuring mínimal impact on project timelines and quality standards.
**7. Reporting & Analysis**:
- Prepare regular procurement reports, analyzing purchasing trends, supplier performance, cost savings, and areas for improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
**8. Team Leadership & Development**:
- Lead and mentor the commercial team (procurement executive and quantity surveyors), providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their success.
- Foster a collaborative environment within the commercial team and across other departments, ensuring smooth project execution.
**Qualification, Skills and Competence**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, ideally within the interior design or furniture industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing procurement for large-scale projects, including furniture, materials, and vendor services.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and build long-term supplier relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on cost control and quality assurance.
- Advanced proficiency in procurement software (ERP systems such as Epicor) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle supply chain disruptions and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Knowledge of sustainable procurement practices and commitment to ethical sourcing.
- Strong leadership skills with a collaborative and inclusive approach.
- Proactive and solution-oriented, with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Passionate about delivering high-quality, value-driven solutions.
Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
