An Accountant/Administrator is required to act primarily in the following companies that provide Marine Surveying Services:
1) International Marine Experts (IME)

IME is a diversified Marine Surveying and Consultancy Company dedicated to serve the Marine and Insurance Industry with the highest quality standards.

Our company specializes in Marine Surveys, Dry, Liquid and Refrigerated Cargo Inspections, Marine Claims & Loss Adjusting, Project Cargo Inspections, Flag States Inspections, Marine Consultancy and Marine Accident Investigations.

Our customer includes Cargo, Hull & Machinery Underwriters, P & I Clubs, Ship Owners, Ship Managers, Ship Yards, Attorneys and Solicitors. Recognizing that each client has specific needs and requirements IME will provide the experts necessary to ensure the client has a solution to its Marine Claims and Risk Issues.

2) Overseas Marine Certification Services (OMCS CLASS) is a leading ship classification
society. We provide a critical link in the marine risk management chain by serving
as an independent institution operating between ship owners, builders, financiers,
underwriters, flag administrations, and vessel charterers.

OMCS CLASS provides a full range of services for ship classification, statutory
certification, and regulatory compliance. These risk-management services are
complemented by expert advisory and consultancy capabilities.
Whether you are seeking to register and certify an existing vessel, transfer class from
another society, certify compliance with international regulations, or simply improve
operational performance, we have the technical staff and professional experience to
deliver results.
International Conventions permit flag administrations to delegate the inspection and
certification of ships to a Recognized Organization (RO) and Recognized Security
Organization (RSO). As such, OMCS CLASS represents the maritime administrations
of Panama, Barbados, Palau, Cameroon, Comoros, Vanuatu, Barbados, Belize, Sierra Leone, Palau, Vanuatu, Bolivia, Paraguay, Tanzania, Togo, Moldova and several others flag states through our worldwide coverage.

3) Bierman Pautt & Associates

Provide Services of Ship Registration and Company Formations under different Jurisdictions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Establishing and implementing administrative and financial strategies for the company.
- Ensure that administrative policies are understood, implemented and maintained at all levels of the organization.
- Maintain managing banking relation areas, supervising accounting area and coordinating IT support
- Preparation of the payroll process of the personnel
- Preparing the budget cycle for the business
- Promote the observance of the code of Ethics and as such recognize the inherent responsibility associated with the delegation of the authority.
- Provide for the development, implementations and maintenance an effective internal quality system according to the requirements of ISO 9001.
- Evaluate the performance of the personnel under his supervision.
- Participate in seminars, conventions and events in order to promote the company.
- Support the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System in the company by designing new procedures or adjustment to existing in the department.
- Verify that all records are properly post at system,
- Verify and control inter-companies accounts,
- Controls payments made to the maritime administrations.
- supervise and control Branches,
- verify and approve invoices and receipts corresponding to services rendered
- Provides accounting information within the accounting system and the database.
- verify calculations of payments, and delivery of the Social Security payroll in the period due.
- Review payroll process.

**EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS**
- A Bachelor degree in accounts, finances or equivalent.
- Masters in Finance or MBA, preferable,
- CPA Certificate, Preferable
- English Language

**EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**
- Five or Seven years working as administrator or accounting supervisor,
- Experience in managing personnel,
- Managing banking relationship, or
- Knowledge in accounting and financial area including budget and cycles, or
- Experience in ensuring compliance with procedures and policies.
