**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the Pastry Head Chef to develop and execute dessert menus that complement the restaurant's culinary vision and meet the highest standards of taste and presentation.
- Supervise and mentor the pastry team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure consistent quality and execution of desserts.
- Prepare and produce a variety of pastry items, including plated desserts, pastries, breads, and confections.
- Oversee inventory management, including ingredient orders and stock rotation, to minimize wastage and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Maintain a clean and organized pastry kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Innovate and experiment with new dessert recipes, incorporating seasonal ingredients and contemporary techniques to keep our menu fresh and exciting.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to address guest preferences, allergies, and dietary requirements, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
- Monitor dessert sales and guest feedback, adjusting recipes and presentation as needed to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Assist in the development of cost-effective dessert offerings while maintaining quality and creativity.
- Fill in for the Pastry Head Chef in their absence, assuming leadership responsibilities and ensuring the smooth operation of the pastry department.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or similar role in a reputable restaurant or pastry shop.
- Culinary degree or specialized pastry training from a recognized culinary institute.
- Expertise in a wide range of pastry techniques, including baking, chocolate work, plating, and dessert decoration.
- Creative flair and a passion for experimenting with new flavors, textures, and presentation styles.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior pastry team members.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of taste and aesthetics.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

**Salary**: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- Pastry: 5 years (required)
- Pastry Sous Chef: 2 years (required)
