Front Office Duty Manager

Position is based in _**Liwa, Abu Dhabi **_
- Duty Manager will be deputed for the _**Night Shift**_
- The Duty Manager represents the management of the resort/camp ensuring a smooth operation and maximum guest satisfaction in all areas.
- Manage and monitor activities of all employees in the Front Office department making sure they adhere to the standards of excellence and to the guidelines set in the employee handbook, resort golden rules, resort policies and procedures, coaching, training and correcting where needed.
- Attending daily briefings at the beginning of every shift ensuring grooming standards are always as well as departmental communication meetings
- Receiving full handover from the previous Shift Duty Manager and giving full handover to the next shift Duty Manager
- Checking of Registration cards and verifying all the information with regards to guest's profile and booking details, rates and implementation of audit and front office policies
- Assist FOM in controlling the booking situation of the day and handling booking out guests in case of an overbooking situation.
- Ensuring the general cleanliness of the Visitor Centre Areas at all times and liaising with Housekeeping when required
- Checking room discrepancies and act accordingly
- Checking and act accordingly on traces
- Records Guest's Incidents in Incident Report, update the glitch management report with any guest's feedback even if it's silent
- Assist in maintaining and developing front Office SOP's and to ensure all Front Office colleagues adheres to the correct procedures.
- Direct and oversee all resort operations to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.
- communicate with the concerned departments with regards to VIP arrivals, guest with special attention
- Rooms allocation based on preferences and specials, rooms inspections to be conducted, ensuring any special requests are carried out accordingly, greet guests upon arrival
- Maintain a professional and high quality service oriented environment at all times.
- Setting the duty roster for GSEs ensuring enough manning during the busy operation
- Work closely with the Housekeeping Department to improve guest services and foster cross departmental communication.
- Conducting GSEs annual appraisal/probation period appraisals
- Perform any other works as and when assigned by the management
- Patrolling in the premises ensuring all are well maintained and in safety
- Guest Focus: Build and maintain positive relationships with all guests in order to exceed their needs.

- Maintain knowledge of special guest activities and events in the resort in order to recognize and respond to guests needs
- Problem Solving and Decision Making : Evaluate and assimilate critical information when reaching conclusions and make logical, competent decisions
