Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Document Controller/Administrative Assistant **to join our team In this role you will get to **perform both administrative and document control functions for a Program Management Office for a highly reputable Master Developer.**
**What You'll Be Doing**:
- Process one or more document types through all procedural steps in accordance with well-defined procedures and guidelines.
- Ensure that pre-established document control requirements (e.g., which document numbering system will be used; how many and which signatures will be required for certain approvals, etc.) are satisfactorily met throughout the duration of the project.
- Receives, tracks, and monitors documents using standard document management programs to register documents, maintain databases, and produces logs, transmittals, and other reports as required.
- Scan documents for electronic storage.
- Maintain an established data distribution system and schedule for the assigned project based upon client, project, department, and supplier requirements. Expedites review, signature approval, and release of supplier and internally produced documents.
- May perform some clerical duties such as light typing, filing, answering phones, messenger service, keeping clerical logs, etc.
- Assist staff to ensure effective implementation of project-specific procedures / training in document control.
- Perform other duties commensurate with functional level and responsibilities.
- Contribute as a team player who is deadline driven and works well with others.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:
- Diploma/ Associate Degree in an Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of overall document control experience of which at least 3+ years experience should be in UAE.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Highly organized, pro-active and can work with mínimal supervision.
- Working knowledge of **MS Office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive **and related word processing, spreadsheets, and database software.
- High Proficiency in the use of **Aconex **at a Document Controller level

- Good understanding of Construction and Engineering Terminology and Document Control Practices
- Ability to self-start and be proactive
- Confidence to ask questions and obtain deliverables from team members and other stakeholders.
