Software Channel Partner Manager

**Job Overview**: As a Software Channel Partner Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing channel strategies to maximize sales opportunities and revenue growth through software channel partners. You will work closely with internal sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure effective collaboration and alignment with partner initiatives. Your primary objective will be to establish and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, enable their success, and drive mutual business growth.
**Responsibilities**
1. Develop and execute channel partner strategies and business plans to meet revenue targets and drive market penetration.
2. Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners that align with the company's software product portfolio and business objectives.
3. Build and nurture relationships with existing channel partners, acting as their primary point of contact and advocate within the organization.
4. Provide training, support, and resources to channel partners to enable effective product promotion, sales, and technical understanding.
5. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute joint marketing campaigns, sales incentives, and channel enablement programs.
6. Monitor and analyze partner performance, sales metrics, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
7. Conduct regular business reviews with channel partners to evaluate performance, address challenges, and identify strategies for mutual success.
9. Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to identify new partnership opportunities and potential risks.
10. Ensure compliance with partner agreements, terms, and conditions, and manage any issues or disputes that may arise.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Proven experience in software channel partner management, preferably within the technology industry.
- Strong understanding of software sales and distribution channels, including resellers, VARs, system integrators, and distributors.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to establish trust and rapport with partners at various levels.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute channel strategies, business plans, and joint go-to-market programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate partner performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in CRM and channel management tools.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet partners, attend industry events, and support business activities.
