Responsible for commercial aspects, project financials (controlling & reporting) & clean books and records. Co-leading of the project together with project manager with the objective of executing the project according to the defined Project Management (PM) standards, customer requirements and the applicable Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRG) Partnership and collaboration between the CPM and the PM. Cost and Progress Management and close interface to the Controlling/reporting team. Taking the functional CPM guidance and development for UAE and some selected GCC countries.
**Lets talk about you**
- You should have at least 5 years of experience as CPM for handling of long-term / complex "C" category projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance.
- Certified CPM for "C" Category projects would be preferred.
- Experience with Project Management methods, processes and tools.
- Experience with Business Processes (project execution, sales, purchasing etc )
- Accounting Principles (FRGs)
- Asset Management.
- Contract/Claim Management.
- Project Risk & Opportunity Management.
- Command over MS Office (Excel, Power Point etc...)
- Proficiency with related SAP modules
- Excellent oral & written communication & presentation skills in English
- Experience with forecasting, reporting, and analysis.

**Areas of Responsibility**:

- Co-leading the projects together with Project Manager in managing targeted financial results in the areas of revenue, profit, cash, asset position and financing instruments.
- Motivating Project Team members, providing guidance and clarity and project updates (e.g.: recognition on achievements and roadmaps for overcoming challenges)
- Being bold, decisive & courageous (big-picture thinking, managing ambiguity)
- Being open and foster collaboration.
- Responsible for educating project team members on project financials.
- Ensures an adequate handover phase.
- Drives the review and evaluation of the contract conditions incl. all attachments, ensures examination Contract reading with Project Team.
- Coordinates together with the PM the proper allocation of onshore and offshore parts.
- Ensures the accuracy of cost and pricing calculation as well as overall project books and records, incl. recording of such in respective ERPs.
- Prepares commercial documentation for regular project status meetings and ensures the accuracy of the commercial project data (i.e. FC, MIKA, cash flow) cost review sessions with project team
- Actively performs asset management, initiates invoicing according to project progress and contractual terms and ensure proper payment allocation (onshore/offshore/consortium)
- Actively manages cost and invoices (in
- / and outbound) to optimize the project’s cash flow,
- Ensures compliance with FRG and local GAAP requirements
- Ensures forecast accuracy.
- Risks, contract and claims Management
- Ensures Business Conduct Guidelines
- Ensures relevant tax and regulations,
- Ensures efficient communication with all relevant internal and external stakeholders,
- Actively communicates with Customer's representatives and manages resolution of commercial issues
- Cost and Progress Management and close interface to the Controlling/reporting team.
