Retail Sales Manager

**Position: Sales Manager - Retail**
**Job Summary**:
As a Sales Manager in our Retail sales division, you will be responsible for leading and managing a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue and growth targets. You will develop and execute sales strategies, mentor and train sales representatives, build and maintain key client relationships, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
**Experience**:
Typically requires 5-10 years of experience in Retail sales from Food Industry/Snacks Industry with at least 3+years in a sales management or leadership role.
**Qualifications**:
Any Science graduate / Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
Proven track record of successful Retail sales leadership, including team management.
Strong understanding of Retail sales processes, strategies, and best practices.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Leadership and mentoring skills.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Team Leadership: Recruit, onboard, and develop a team of Retail sales professionals. Set clear performance goals and
provide ongoing coaching and feedback. Motivate and inspire the team to meet and
exceed sales targets.
Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities. Collaborate with the executive team to set sales targets and budgets.
Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients and strategic partners. Understand client needs and align product or service offerings accordingly. Resolve escalated client issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Sales Process Optimization:Continuously improve the sales process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Implement sales tools, CRM systems, and best practices to streamline operations. Monitor sales metrics and provide data-driven insights to improve performance.
Sales Training and Development: Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team. Keep the team informed about industry trends and product/service updates. Identify individual training needs and provide coaching and support.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to senior management. Use data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Make data-driven decisions to optimize sales strategies.
Budget Management: Manage the sales department budget effectively and efficiently. Allocate resources to achieve the best return on investment. Control expenses and maintain profitability.
