Operations Manager

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations at Tornatech FZE, ensuring efficiency, quality, and productivity in all areas of the business. This role includes managing production, logistics, procurement and quality control. The Operations Manager will work closely with other departments, ensuring adherence to company standards and achieving operational goals.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- **Mission**: Maintain the leadership of Tornatech in its industry with high level of innovation, enthusiasm and integrity.
- **Operational Oversight**: Manage the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring efficient workflow, adherence to schedules, and meeting quality standards.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of operations staff, including production, logistics, procurement, and support employees.
- **Supply Chain Management**: Oversee procurement activities, maintaining relationships with suppliers, and ensuring the timely availability of materials and components.
- **Quality Assurance**: Implement and maintain quality control standards across production and services, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards. Follow ISO quality systems and Environment, Health, and Safety standards. Maintain Tornatech product and factory certification of the applicable standards UL, FM.
- **Production Management**: Supervise production schedules, capacity planning, and resource allocation to meet customer demands and deadlines.
- **Cost Control**: Manage budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for process optimization and operational efficiencies.
- **Reporting**: Prepare regular reports on operational performance, production metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior management.
- **Compliance**: Ensure adherence to local regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Drive a culture of continuous improvement through process reviews, staff training, and adopting best practices.
- **Other**: Perform any other task requested by the Managing Director.
**INTERNAL RELATIONS**:
The employee reports to the Managing Director. The employee collaborates with the other Managers, and members of the factory under his responsibility.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:
- 5 years of professional experience in managing teams in Operations environment.
- 3 years of UAE professional
- Master’s degree (4-5yrs) in Business, Administration, Engineering or equivalent.
- Integrity is mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal, and no-verbal.
- Intellectual curiosity as a mindset.
- Have a good computer knowledge (AutoCAD, MS Office).
- Speaks English (French and Arabic is an asset).
