We are now looking for **AVEVA Instrumentation Administrator **to be a part of Rejlers Team in Offshore/Onshore Oil & Gas Projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The **AVEVA Instrumentation Administrator **reports to the Line manager - I&A Department. AVEVA Electrical admin knowledge will be added advantage.

**Job Overview**

In your role, you will execute AVEVA Instrumentation set-up & Configuration, user training & deliverables in projects in a safe manner, budget, schedule, and quality.

You should have a desire to work on multi-discipline local (ADNOC) as well as overseas projects and be able to drive discipline goals by working together with assigned discipline designers and engineers.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Development of new standards and documentation (Owners Projects guide for AVEVA Instrumentation).
- Support engineers, designers in engineering.
- Manages and audits the AVEVA Instrumentation database.
- Customizes, maintains, documents, and controls the local AVEVA template.
- Seeds database creation as per client requirement.
- Overseas project initiation and set up in AVEVA.
- Provides efficient data imports and exports.
- Manages As-Built domains for documentation.
- Maintains client AVEVA Instrumentation database seed file and contents.
- Develops training plans for engineers, designers, and technicians as needed.
- Provide local support associated with updates to AVEVA Instrumentation software.
- Manage/co-ordinates instrument indices/user defined fields.
- Researches, analyzes, organizes statics or other technical material/reports for specific occasions or on a scheduled basis (KPIs).
- Manages AVEVA logins and access rights.
- Reviews and approves database change requests.
- Reviews and approves symbol change requests.
- Reviews output reports for consistency.
- Upgrades of the versions and consistency checks.
- Assigns loop numbers, manages the structure and data integrity of the AVEVA Instrumentation database.
- Maintains AVEVA Instrumentation standard documentation.
- Manages escalation and resolutions of database issues, engaging software vendors as required.
- Follow department and client drafting methods and standards.
- Creates auditing requirements and checking for quality assurance of the design efforts.
- Co-ordinates and /or negotiate with clients, vendors, and other discipline engineers for AVEVA Instrumentation related problems.
- Maintains and verifies daily backup routines.
- Helps develop automation enhancements.
- Creates reports as per project requirements.
- Designs accurate system designs, in a given time period, adjusting to project requirements.

**Qualifications**- Engineering Graduate (BEng, BSc. or MSc.) in Instrumentation or Technical related degree.
- Working Experience with ADNOC ONSHORE/OFFSHORE or ADNOC group is added advantage.
- Intergraph certified AVEVA Instrumentation Designer/System administrator is preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years in senior role administration and support of AVEVA.
- Good verbal as well written communication skills, leadership and coordination, analytic and pro-active approach competence in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Chemical Industries.
- Experience with DCS/ESD/PLC wiring and layout, instrument loop diagrams.
- Experience using AVEVA modules such as Instrument Index, Instrument spec sheets, Wiring, Process Datasheets, and loop drawings.
- In-depth proven experience in AVEVA Administration including database upgrades, setting-up and supporting AVEVA projects, and splitting off projects for parallel engineering.
- Experience in database setup and dataset management.
- Experience with AVEVA customization and configuration seed files.
- Experience using info maker to customize specification sheets and developing custom reports.
- Integration experience with SPPID& SPF will be added advantage.
- Easily interface with a variety of internal and external customers.
- Strong aptitude for project planning and implementing new design software.
- Knowledge of VB (.NET) programming and MSSQL/ORACLE queries will be considered as an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must-have to effectively work with the engineering disciplines.
- Has the ability to effectively conduct training sessions for new users.
- Willingness to overcome challenges and pressure during the peak of the project.
