Our company is a prominent financial services in Dubai, specializing in assistance and optimizing opportunities for financial growth and success. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Settlement Officer to join our team and support in our day to day business operations.
- **Role Purpose**
The Settlement Officer is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely settlements, reconciliation of financial transactions, accounts, and statements. They play a vital role in identifying and resolving discrepancies, maintaining financial integrity, and supporting the overall financial management of the organization. The role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Settlements: Verify and validate financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Cross-check transaction records, verification documents, and other supporting documents to ensure proper documentation and recording.
- Transaction Monitoring and Reporting: Prepare reconciliation reports, financial statements, and other related documents accurately and within specified timelines.
- Summarize findings, provide explanations for discrepancies, and make recommendations for process improvements if necessary.
- Record maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, reconciliation reports, and supporting documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare regular reports summarizing the reconciliation findings, outstanding issues, and resolution progress for management and other stakeholders.
